“MAKING OF MAN,” the topic of the service was uttered by everyone who set foot on the Grace Chapel’s pulpit. For the past two days, there had been a seminar organized by the leaders of the chapel for all the men in campus.
The service was fabulous, men, who were dressed to kill, were in control of everything from the beginning to the end. The angels of heaven are gifted in melodious singing but our men tried during the service. A crescendo rose, followed by another and by the end of their song presentation, the congregation was on its feet, singing along.
“Being in a pair of trousers does not prove your manhood,” Mr. Too said. “Ladies do put them on nowadays,” he went on. The speaker of the day Mr. Masinde then went ahead to state how one can be a man;
Ø Think great things
Ø Read great books
Ø Pursue great people and choose
friends wisely; not by default
Ø Be a dreamer
Ø Pray great prayers
Ø Take great risks
Ø Make great sacrifices
Ø Enjoy great moments regardless of
what you are going through.
Ø Empower great people
Ø Great people develop great habits
Many were greatly blessed and are looking forward to more of these.
