| upcoming journalists waiting for the seminar session to begin |
The theme(background color) of the whole building is lime green(from walls, dozens of stairs to the curtains that hung to obscure direct light into the building). The place was paradise and many were full of admiration to the extent of confusing it for something else for example *Erick thought that he was in an aeroplane, that's quite hilarious but its a fact, *Reuben thought that it was the right place for a honeymoon and *Sharon started building castles in the air.
The last floor marked the venue of the seminar and Victor Bwire, the Media Council of Kenya's training officer shared the wealth of knowledge that he has pertaining the Dos and Don't s of a journalist.Amos Kibet, a personnel of MCK had a debate with the upcoming journalists concerning vernacular radio stations in Kenya and the CEO of the council also had something to say. Those in attendance were Moi University media lecturers, the public, leaders of various fields, businessmen, MCK's personnel, journalists working in different radio,TV and newspaper firms and Moi University Media Students from the school of Information Sciences.
The seminar ended with a little treat to those in attendance......................and maybe........................some plan is underway to have the MCK personnel come to the institution for further knowledge sharing.
Remember, journalists have a "small Bible," the code of ethics booklet.

ReplyDeleteYou see even women the way they write their news they are more concerned by the descriptions of the place (am not stereotyping) but a i think its the nature of women to pay attention to small small details about the beauty of a place or somebody

DeleteFrom your description of the entire venue I actually find myself in the hotel but only in the " Fantasy world". I know the event was really an eye opener to all media students and a great motivation to us all who one day wish to be successful in the profession.
